Mirissa, which is in Matara district can be recommended as one of the best places in Sri Lanka for Whale watching. Whale watching is a very popular activity among tourists, both local and international. This experience will surly give you a chance to enjoy a boat ride to the sea.

We take you to sea by boats and provide you safety jackets as well as the right guidance. November to April is the best time to see whales and we will have to start the boat ride early in the morning, at least at 6.30 a.m. Seeing this amazing species is a rare thing and you will always cherish that moment.
Mirissa is not only famous for its most attracted activity which is whale watching but also for surfing. Absolute good waves are here for surfing. Weligama beach and Polhena beach will also give you good waves for a good surf. They are just within 10km distance from Mirissa.
